New River Walks Past and Planned

Our sincere thanks to Cathy Perry, of BTCV in Haringey, who enthusiastically supported and participated with John Polley and Bob Hare of NRAG in organising both our southern and northern section walks.

Southern section walk    In late-Summer 2006, we walked the southern half of the river from New River Head (beside Sadlers Wells) in Islington to the centre of Enfield. See photo-gallery for southern section walk.

Northern section walk    In early-Summer 2007, we walked the northern half of the river from Enfield to the sources (Chadwell Spring and New Gauge) near Hertford. See photo-gallery for northern section walk.

Old courses walk    We are planning a walk covering some of the many sections of historic 'old' course.

Public transport    between the northern parts of the New River and London. A very rough guide!
